GURU TEG BAHADUR School’s emphasis on moral education is reflected in its approach toward entrepreneurship education as well. Along with imparting the necessary skills and knowledge for starting a business, the school also instills values such as honesty, integrity, and social responsibility in its students. This is important because it ensures that the youth are not only equipped to succeed as entrepreneurs but also to do so in an ethical and sustainable manner.
One of the key components of the school’s entrepreneurship education program is its vocational training courses. These courses are designed to provide students with hands-on experience in various trades, such as tailoring, beauty and wellness, computer skills, and more. By giving students the opportunity to learn practical skills, the school not only helps them develop a sense of self-sufficiency but also encourages them to think creatively about potential business opportunities.
In addition to vocational training, the school also offers business management and financial literacy courses. These courses cover topics such as budgeting, marketing, and sales, as well as the legal and regulatory requirements for starting a business. By providing students with a well-rounded education in entrepreneurship, the school is helping them develop the knowledge and skills they need to succeed as entrepreneurs.
The success stories of GTB School’s students are a testament to the effectiveness of its entrepreneurship education program. Many of its graduates have gone on to start successful businesses in a variety of industries, ranging from clothing and accessories to food and hospitality. These businesses not only provide a source of income for the entrepreneurs themselves but also create jobs and contribute to the local economy.
Overall, GTB School’s approach to entrepreneurship education is a shining example of how education can be used as a tool for social and economic empowerment. By providing free education and vocational training to underprivileged youth, the school is giving them the skills and knowledge they need to succeed as entrepreneurs, and ultimately, to improve their own lives and those of their communities.
At Guru Teg Bahadur School, we strongly believe that education can change society and build a nation. Our efforts to empower youth through entrepreneurship education and training are a reflection of this belief. We provide free education to the children of underprivileged and deprived sections under Open Basic Education (OBE) and through the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS). In addition, we also provide free skill-based vocational training under Skill India Mission.
Our school is situated in roadside and slum areas, making it accessible to the most vulnerable sections of society. Due to the pandemic, we have seen a rapid increase in admissions as students have either dropped out or are not able to afford school fees. We are proud to share that more than 200 students have benefitted from our initiative so far.
Our mission is to empower youth and create a positive impact in their lives. We provide education in a disciplined way and practice moral education as an important and inclusive part of school education. We believe that education not only provides knowledge and skills but also instills values and ethics that help young minds to become responsible citizens.
We strongly believe that entrepreneurship education is crucial in today’s world. It not only equips students with necessary business skills but also promotes creativity, innovation, and risk-taking abilities. We have designed our entrepreneurship program to be inclusive, practical, and experiential, with a focus on developing entrepreneurial mindsets among our students.

We firmly believe that education is the foundation for creating a better future, and we are committed to empowering our students with the knowledge, skills, and values that will enable them to succeed in life and make a positive contribution to their communities.
One of the ways we are doing this is by providing entrepreneurship education and training to our students. We believe that entrepreneurship is a powerful tool for creating economic opportunities, promoting innovation, and fostering social progress. By teaching our students the skills and mindset they need to start and run their own businesses, we are empowering them to take control of their lives and to make a difference in their communities.
To this end, we have developed a comprehensive entrepreneurship curriculum that covers everything from ideation and market research to financial management and marketing. Our curriculum is designed to be hands-on and practical, with a focus on experiential learning and real-world applications.
Through this curriculum, we have seen many of our students develop a passion for entrepreneurship and go on to start their own businesses. Some of our success stories include students who have started small businesses in their communities, such as selling homemade snacks or providing mobile phone repair services. Others have gone on to launch more ambitious ventures, such as online marketplaces or technology startups.
For example, one of our students, Ravi, started a small food cart business with the help of our entrepreneurship program. He learned how to develop a business plan, market his products, and manage his finances. Today, Ravi’s business is thriving, and he has expanded his offerings to include catering services and online sales.
Another student, Priya, developed an interest in technology and entrepreneurship through our program. She learned how to code and developed a mobile app that helps farmers access market information and connect with buyers. Priya’s app has been recognized by several tech competitions and has won funding and support from investors.
At GTB School, we are proud of our students and their accomplishments. We believe that by providing them with the education, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed, we are helping to build a brighter future for all.
At GTB School, we have realized the potential of entrepreneurship education in enabling our students to become job creators, rather than job seekers. We will continue to strive towards expanding our reach and impact and empowering more youth through entrepreneurship education.
In addition to providing free education, we also offer skill-based vocational training under the Skill India Mission. This program is aimed at equipping our students with practical skills that will help them become self-reliant and financially independent in the future. We believe that entrepreneurship education and training is a crucial aspect of this program, as it helps our students develop the mindset and skills needed to start and run their own businesses.
Through our entrepreneurship program, we provide our students with hands-on training in various aspects of business management, including marketing, finance, and operations. We also invite successful entrepreneurs to speak to our students, share their experiences, and offer guidance and mentorship. We believe that this exposure to real-life examples of successful businesses and entrepreneurs can inspire our students and give them the confidence and motivation they need to pursue their own entrepreneurial dreams.
One of the success stories of our entrepreneurship program is the story of Rohit Kumar, who was a student at GTB School. Rohit was interested in starting his own business, but he had no idea where to begin.
